FOR INDIVIDUALS, SCHOOLS, CLUBS AND MORE
Membership connects individuals, clubs, schools, and supporters to the wider volleyball community in the Manawatū region. Through membership, participants contribute to the growth, sustainability, and future direction of the sport while gaining access to competitions, development opportunities, representative pathways, resources, and community programmes. Membership also strengthens the collective voice of volleyball in our region, enabling Volleyball Manawatū to advocate for participants, deliver quality experiences, and continue building safe, inclusive, and sustainable opportunities across all ages, stages, and levels of the game.
Volleyball Manawatu recognise the work of clubs in our region as a group of individuals calling themselves a club, whether or not incorporated, which administers, promotes and develops Volleyball (whether as its primary activity or otherwise) in the Region, which may include a team, and that meets the requirements for membership.
Clubs may become voting or non-voting members of the association per Constitution clause 4.5 & 4.6.
The Manawatū Regional Volleyball Association (MRVA) is the recognised representative body for clubs within the Manawatū region seeking entry into Volleyball New Zealand (VNZ) sanctioned competitions, including the Central Zone League (CZL) and VNZ Club Championships. Clubs participating in any VNZ sanctioned event must affiliate to their region. MRVA manage this affiliation by voting club membership.
