The Inter-Provincial Beach Championships (IPC Beach) is Volleyball Manawatū's premier representative beach volleyball program, providing the opportunity for the region's top U17 and U19 athletes to compete against the best players from across New Zealand. Athletes earn selection through the Volleyball Manawatū beach pathway, with performances across the summer season contributing to representative selection. IPC Beach is a key step in the national performance pathway, allowing players to develop their skills, represent Manawatū with pride, and gain valuable experience in a high-performance competition environment.

Volleyball Manawatū will be selecting representative pairs to compete at the 2027 Beach Inter-Provincial Championships (IPC).

The tournament will be held in Mount Maunganui from Monday, 11th January 2027 - Wednesday 13th January 2027, bringing together regional teams from across the country to compete at a national level. This event is a key fixture on the national beach volleyball calendar and offers athletes the opportunity to represent their region in a high-performance beach environment.

Beach IPC is an affiliated event coordinated by Volleyball New Zealand and provides a platform for emerging and elite athletes to gain competitive experience, develop their game, and showcase their skills on the sand.

Age-Group Cut Off

Under 19's (Boys and Girls Pairs) cannot turn 19 in 2027 - Born in 2009 or later

Under 17's (Boys and Girls Pairs) cannot turn 17 in 2027 - Born in 2011 or later

This year Volleyball Manawatu will run trials and select the top 16 players across u17 and u19 boys and girls divisions to train and represent at the 2027 Championships.

Trial dates will be confirmed soon. With trainings running through term 4 and summer.
